My mornings usually start off like this;
I get up around 6 am with CJ (my 'other' half) and somehow manage to get down the stairs without falling. I stagger into the kitchen and the first thing I do is make a pot of coffee. Now, seems like a pretty normal routine, right? I bet many people start their mornings this way.

However, I've been thinking about the WHY. WHY coffee? Am I addicted to caffeine? Not sure, I mean, ''if' I go a few days without, which is rare, I don't get those pounding headaches so many people speak of. I think I love the taste of coffee and I think this is so routine for me that it has become a habit...

I have a serious problem and it's called blogging. I have no idea why the hell I started yet another blog! I have several and it was already a bit difficult to keep up with them all.

Well, my blog, The Independent Mom was basically created for friends and family - a way for them to keep up with everything happening here. I have lots of pictures and videos on that blog so that keeps people happy. I guess I see this blog being more 'raw' so to speak. Not as much about the kids and a bit more about me.

I'm a dichotomy. Really. That word sums it up.
I hate heights, but I love roller coasters! Hate loud noises but adore fireworks.

I'm low maintenance, but high quality. I find the same delight in a $200.00 dinner as I do in a pizza and a beer.

I have no use for lying. I'm not opportunistic at all. I believe in fairness and justice. I can always see both sides to anything, which becomes very burdensome.

I strongly believe in the Constitution and in my first amendment right to free speech.

I'm emotional. I cry when I get angry and I hate it. I'm a giver, but loved to be taken care of, though I will never ask. I'm very persuasive. It's part of my charm.

I live my life with no regrets because everything happens for a reason. Every decision I've made, good or bad, has made me who I am and brought me to here.

I'm very open and honest and I probably share too much. I'm probably the most loyal friend you will ever have.

I am a mommy to 3 beautiful children, ages 7, 4 and 3.

I have tattoos and piercings - I get strange looks at times, I suppose I don't fit that 'mommy' persona. Oh, and I drink LOTS of coffee.

In 2008 I began working for an seo company as a blogger and by mid 2009 I was promoted to Account Manager/Social Manager/Queen Bloggerella where I handled client accounts, managed the social media aspect of things and was the point of contact for all bloggers and article writers.

Freelance writing took off in 2009 and since then I have been freelancing for Demand Media writing articles for Demand Studios and Break Media writing for Break Studios; but only part time.

I am the proud owner of my own freelance writing company L&C Freelancing; there are currently 5 freelancers working with L&C Freelancing!
