CJ's mom got us
The Showtime Standard Rotisserie BBQ Oven for Yule:

Now, I must admit, at first I wasn't all that excited about it. You see, our kitchen is small and we have limited counter space as it is, this thing just screamed 'WHERE YA GONNA PUT ME, LISA?'
CJ scoffed at it and wondered when the hell we'd ever use it.
Then one day, the day after we got it actually, he went to the grocery store and bought a pork loin. Once he got home we immediately started reorganizing our kitchen. Cleaned out cupboards, drawers, the pantry, everything. WOW - blessing in disguise - the kitchen needed this decluttering!
Somewhere on this computer I have a video of the pork loin being cooked. I shall search for it and if I find it, I'll post it. In the meantime, here are two photos of the small ham we made in it the other day!

I do love this thing! Everything tastes tender and juicy and the fat drips right off so it's definitely healthier to cook with this. The top compartment is for steaming vegetables and it works perfectly!
Thumbs up for this product!

CJ's mom got this waffle iron for us (well,
for the kids - but for us to use) and we've already made some waffles!
It's nice - it makes animal shaped waffles - chicken, pig, cow and barn. It operates on 1200 watts and has seven settings for waffles that are light to dark in color. A tone alerts you when your waffles are ready.
It has a nonstick coating so there's no sticking - your waffles come right out, well, sort of. You have to use a non stick spray on it before the first use of the day.
WARNING: My husband has a potty mouth!
Other features include On, Off and Ready lights, a trough to catch any spills, extra-thick grids and a wrap-around cord. All in all, this is an excellent waffle iron and a gift I absolutely love - and so do the kids!

You know, I haven't a clue why most food pictures just do not look appetizing! However, I can tell you that this dish was to die for!
My husband made this for dinner the other night. He made spaghetti and then put it in a pan. He seared chicken breast and then added the chicken to the spaghetti, then added the sauce and baked it.
When it was done, he added mozzarella cheese to it. It was delish!

I know, the holidays are fast approaching and it seems all I hear is talk bout what to get so and so. If you have a guy to buy for, consider some
mens jewelry from titanium-jewelry.com
I have been to this site several times. I first found it when I was searching for mens wedding bands and I LOVE what they have to offer. I soon realized they have much more than rings, they have all kinds of jewelry made from various materials. I really love the Edward Mirell
Leather Necklace I have pictured in this post - it is definitely for a 'manly man' nothing feminine about it!

I ordered the Fountain Jet Home Soda Maker for my husband for his birthday. His birthday isn't until December 29th and I received this early enough that I thought I'd be able to wrap it up and surprise him ON his birthday. No such luck. His days off from work on Wednesdays and Thursdays and of course, this showed up on a Wednesday - when he was home and I wasn't! Hahahhaaa...just my luck. He got an early present =)
I ordered this from
sodaclub.com and I am very happy with this product! There are over 25 regular, diet and caffeine-free sodamix flavors to choose from and they DO taste good! We have tried several and haven't been disappointed at all.

CJ even took the soda maker to work on the day of his holiday party and it was a hit! He is really pleased with this and I am too. Money well spent!

Just the type of
residential lighting you have can make or break a room. I know many people who spend much too much money on decorating their home, some even hire
professional home decorators and I have still seen one thing missed - the lighting.
It's amazing what a light fixture can do to not only light up a room but also bring style and uniqueness to it as well. There doesn't need to be a lot of money spent to beautify a room. Start with the lighting!
I wanted to give the boys some juice. My husband had given them a drink earlier in the day. I asked him if he used all the juice ad he said ''No." Soooo, I was wondering, 'where the heck is the juice?'
Fridge? Nope.
Pantry? Nope.
Cabinet where we keep the coffee cups? Yep.

Funny, he has no recollection of putting the juice there!

When most people think of a
sterling silver gift, they envision jewelry of some sort. I know I do! However, I recently found a really pretty
silver pillbox and honestly, at first I wondered what they heck anyone would use it for. Do people really keep pills in them?
Upon further investigation, I have found that people do collect them for their sterling silver collections. They also make wonderful keepsakes! Yet another great gift idea!

I have had the chance to try both of these since it's taken me so long to find the time to write up this review!
The Rwanda Fiorenzi has rich berry flavors with a hint of chocolate. This makes for a delightfully sweet flavor!
The Nicaragua Matagalpa has more body and less acidity than most Central American coffees I've tried. It has a slight sweet flavor but not at all like the Rwanda Fiorenzi.
I have to say, the Rwanda Fiorenzi won my vote this time around, hands down!

When most people think
baby shower favors they usually think cute of course - but what about practical?
Let's face it, the cute little bottle shaped candy holder you got at the last shower you were out was probably tossed after you got home,
if it even made it home with you.
If you are going to be planning a baby shower in the near future, consider ordering a baby shower favor that may of your guests will not only love and think is cute but something they will also use.
I really like the idea of personalized
Lip Balm as a favor. Most people love using lip balm and the tin can be personalized so you get the cuteness factor along with the practical usage!
This is something I felt I had to review. I have noticed many of my readers are very business minded. Either you run your own business or you work for a pretty decent size business. I wonder, how many business are using
mobile satellite service these days?
I first heard about this through a friend of mine, a high tech geek friend who happens to be a faithful reader of
Geek.com - yes, there is such a site! He told me this mobile satellite service is the next best thing to sliced bread - seriously.
It's pretty cool, actually. It's a satellite system which uses portable terrestrial terminals and these terminals can be mounted on a ship, an airplane, or an automobile. Heck, they can even be carried around by someone! Talk about staying connected, LOL
Gosh, I know, I haven't given my new coffee review. The holiday kinda messed my entire schedule up! I know, I should just do it now but I can't. I have to be drinking it when I do the review, lol - no seriously, I do!
So, instead, I'm siting here on the sofa, nice and comfy, watching
Fringe - which, I gotta say, I am loving this show!
Tomorrow my youngest has a doctor visit, his 2 year check up...TWO years already! No more
baby clothes around here anymore. Kinda makes me sad.

Sportsgear isn't just for adults you know! Kids are into sports too! Especially NFL season. Seems like everyone loves a good football game and most people look forward to the
Superbowl each year.
I found really nice and affordable
NFL apparel for kids at GameTimeUSA.com
Of course I went directly to the Steelers section - they are my favorite team! My husband and I do not root for the same team so we have to buy separate everything. Separate sweatshirts, t-shits, even blankets!
