One aspect of my job (which I get to do from home!!) is to run reports for clients. Now, I am a HUGE Mac fan - and I have never had any issues using my Mac - until recently. The program needed to run reports is not compatible with Mac.

So now I am faced with this dilemma; do I install boot camp on my MacBook or do I just purchase a notebook computer and use that strictly for work? I won't put anything on my iMac, that computer is used by both CJ and myself so i don't want to take the chance on screwing that up!

I'm going to talk to my ex husband, Jeff. He's an IT dude, he'll be able to help, I hope!

We went to Ohio over the weekend to visit CJ's family. Usually I like those trips but this last one was horrible - the boys were just getting over bronchitis and I was just coming down with it. So, needless to say, I had an awful weekend.

My mom took care of the animals, which she usually does. The one thing I need to remember to ask her for next time is to make sure she leaves some windows cracked - I hate the way a house smells when it's closed up for days. Even a clean house, like mine, gets this weird smell to it when everything is closed for days and days in a row. I may even tell her to let a candle burn for a bit when she's here with the dog because it can help neutralize smells, especially vanilla scented candles.

Back to work and routine now. I don't think we'll be going anywhere the rest of the year - I don't *think*

I read an excellent article today regarding women owned businesses - I am amazed at all the different idea there are out there but this one idea in particular, I have never thought of!

There are so many people that want to not only work from home but work doing something they love - this article has some great tips on what you should and shouldn't do.

We are spending this holiday weekend in Ohio with CJ's family. The boys are getting over bronchitis and I have been lucky enough to get bronchitis, so yea, I feel like I'm dying.

Here's what really sucks; I still have an appetite and I can't taste anything! I swear, no matter how sick I get, I always seem to have an appetite. After this trip you can be sure I'll be on the lookout for the best diet pills on the market because despite my illness, I have been pigging out and there is so much food here!

Sometimes I miss the 'workforce' ut then I look at my sweet babies and I'm so glad I'm home with them.

If you have a business, even a small business, have you ever thought about setting up trade show exhibits for your business? This is something that I have been thinking about since being to a trade show recently.

In fact, I saw one peninsula display that really caught my eye! I bet it would not be difficult to think up a theme for a home based business! It was a cool Disney exhibit from a travel agency who specialized in Disney vacations. I'll tell ya what, it really 'sold' people on booking a trip, even in this bad economy! The visual aspect of a trade show exhibit can really entice people to buy.

Looking for deals? We all are, especially in this economy. I found a great way to get some excellent stuff at an awesome price - wholesale auctions are the way to go!

I was just amazed at all the things I was able to find this way, some stuff I needed and some I didn't even know I needed, lol! I bet there are people out there that never thought of this - heck, I was one of them!

Right before we left for vacation - I'm talking the DAY before, CJ went out and bought me the Nikon COOLPIX S60 and I have been in heaven ever since.
