Our downstairs bathroom is still not finished. It's an unfinished room with a toilet in it and that's it. CJ and I keep going round and round about the bathroom. I say keep it basic - it's in the basement for crying out loud.
He wants to go all out and really do it nice, from the vanity to a cool shower stall, right down to
glass tiles for counter tops and I don't now, maybe it's just me but I don't want to spend $5,000 on a secondary bathroom. I'd rather save the money and have an awesome Disney vacation!
Have I mentioned we're going to Disney twice this year? One event I had hoped to get to be a part of was the Pirate & Princess Party but I hear they are no longer having it?
Apparently they canceled it in 2009 without reason and still nothing? I got my info from some chick who was talking about it at a
NJ Cosmetic dentist office I was at for a consultation. (Yea, whiter teeth, blah blah blah) Ha! I just talked about pirates and dentists in the same post - how funny...
Anyone been to it? Anyone hear if they are bringing it back or not?
Is it really true that a man's sex drive decreases with age? I am not so sure; CJ's grandparents still do the nasty and they are in their eighties! Okay - let me scrub that image from my brain...
All this medical research I have been doing for writing projects lately has really educated me; in some way or another. I just learned that
testosterone cream can help with sex drive - totally makes sense now that I think about it.
Okay - back to work, just wanted to pass on that tidbit of information!
I am trying to get work done. I'm sitting here struggling to focus on the
anti aging product reviews I need to read before writing up an article on the subject, but I can't stop thinking about our upcoming Disney vacation! We're going in 3 months!
This time I plan on spending more time in each country at Epcot's World Showcase. In fact, we're even going to eat in different places - to try something new. Cherie, one of my best friends who is going with us, picked Mexico - the San Angel Inn to try, can't wait! Although I vaguely remember eating there in 1997 but even so, it will feel like a brand new experience!
There are so many details I need to take care of yet too for this trip! I am getting so anxious!
Back on the 24th I blogged about trying anything to lose weight - well, one online source i have found particularly useful is
www.weightlosspills.net because it gives excellent reviews on several different weight loss pills.
I'm pretty sure it's true that a majority of weight loss pills don't work - I mean, come on; if they did wouldn't more people be losing weight?
After reading a reputable
hydrolyze review I'd have to say if you use hydrolyze you may want to do a bit more research about it!
It's amazing what we do to keep ourselves from aging, from looking how we sometimes feel or from being who we really are. I'm guilty of it, I will admit that. What do you do to change your appearance?
I have struggled with weight loss ever since having Olivia in 2003. The struggle is still there. I often wonder what extreme turn I may take to overcome this battle.
I know of people who go on strict fasts, some of course just eat healthy and exercise and some have even tried
colon cleansing as a way to not only rid their body of toxins but to also lose those last 10 pounds.
Unfortunately, I have more than 10 pounds to lose. Some days I am sensible and I eat well and exercise and I actually feel great - but after a week, when I notice I only lost 1 or 2 pounds, I feel frustrated and the cycle starts all over again.
36 may not be 'old' to some people, but then why do I look in the mirror some days and think, "wow, you are looking rough today!" I don't do drugs, don't drink (just socially) and don't smoke - so what gives?
IU need a magical night cream to use on my face when I go to bed. Anyone have some suggestions on what the
best night creams are these days? I don't want to go to bed with a green face...no need to scare CJ in the middle of the night!
I had 2 things to find online, one was kinda important since CJ asked me to find the
cheapest car insurance I could like 3 days ago (Whoops!) and I wanted to update my fashion blog - '
Top Designer Finds' but our new kitten, Boots, just would not let me near the computer!

So now I know, don't try to relax on the bed and surf the net...
Oh man! There are too many beautiful
wedding invitations to chose from - why did I get put n charge of that part?! To make my wedding/shower planning side gig easier, I created a blog '
Weddings, Showers and More' - check it out. I am about to post something on
bridesmaid gifts; I found something really awesome!
So, while I am doing all of this I am going to make more coffee! I need caffeine!
The internet is full of sales and well, who doesn't like a sale no matter what time of year it is? Seems all types of companies are having sales! I found all sorts of deals from
mens rings to
lab coats!
Now, why do I mention these 2 things? Well, my (ex)niece is graduating from Penn State this year - she is now an RN so of course she will need medical attire and the rings, well, CJ always deserves a little something now and then.
The internet is my friend ;]
Honestly, the snow has been pretty pathetic around here so far this winter. Now, I am not a fan of this season BUT if it's going to be here, it should BE HERE! The kids had fun regardless:

That day I was all caught up in trying to decide which
baby shower games we should pick to play for this upcoming baby shower I am helping to plan (some of them are a riot!) when I realized it was snowing out. The kids immediately wanted to go out and play in the snow. They had fun for all of 30 minutes before they were too cold to be out there anymore.
So not only am I helping to plan a baby shower I am of course going to it :P I am trying to come up with 2 different types of gifts. One for the baby now and one for the baby in the future. You know, so many gifts revolve around the baby as an infant but what about when they get older?
Obviously
personalized baby gifts are good early on and can be kept forever as a keepsake. I could go with
toys because all babies/kids love having those! What about the future though? I'm not talking about a college fund of buying a
doctors lab coat in the hopes he/she becomes a doctor, LOL - I just mean, like something for when the baby is older.
Thoughts? Maybe a cool pair of
sunglasses? Hahahaaaaa
How the hell do you do it? Back in early December I blogged about how CJ was contemplating a business idea of his own; a type of
childrens franchise, a salon, to be exact. Well, if he does that he'd eventually leave his day job and with that comes the loss of insurance...
Now, if he does that and leaves his day job we not only lose health insurance but life insurance for him as well. The health insurance we can find elsewhere but
life insurance rates are seriously mind boggling! AND, the older you are the more expensive it is!
I told him that he really needs to win the lottery before he contemplates quitting his day job!
I hate driving in snow, especially when it's light snow, you know, the kind that is just enough to make the roads slippery? UGH
I had to take CJ to work today because I need the Honda to drive Olivia to Jeff's this evening. We got a dusting last night but it wasn't too bad this morning. It was supposed to stop today so I wasn't worried but, I was sitting here surfing for
baby shower invitations (yes, I am planning one AGAIN) and contemplating buying this
Minka Aire ceiling fan for the upstairs hallway when I looked out the window and saw SNOW! I swear, if the roads begin to turn white I am seriously going to freak out.
Disney can't come soon enough!
